Hi,

Thanks very much for sorting out the problem. There is no need for me to reinstall the extension as it is all working fine for me now. Happy Days!

It's still not possible to download videos from Dailymotion by pasting the URL into the "Just insert a link" box on the SaveFrom.net website. However, this makes no difference to me now because I no longer download videos from Dailymotion using this method.

Thanks again for all your help in sorting out the problem.

Alvin.

The browser I use is Chrome.

However, I've tried copying and pasting the URL of many different Dailymotion videos into the "Just insert a link" box using Internet Explorer as well. Each time, I get the "Sorry, wrong link! Try another one" webpage come up, just like I do with Chrome.

So for some reason, it doesn't recognise any Dailymotion videos on Chrome or Internet Explorer.

Hi!

It’s been a week since I first informed you about the problems downloading videos from Dailymotion.

Are you any closer to sorting out the issue?

I would really appreciate an update.

Thanks.

Alvin.

Okay, I've followed your advice and I'm downloading directly from Dailymotion.com

This is a screenshot of a Dailymotion video.

I click on the Download icon (an arrow pointing downwards) and a box appears beneath it, which contains the word "Download …"

However, nothing actually happens. The box carrying the word "Download" remains on the page, but it doesn't appear to be downloading.

This is because nothing appears in my download folder on "File Explorer" and nothing appears in my downloads list when I go to chrome://downloads/

Do you know why this is?

You say "each video", but in my case, there is no video.

The video only appears after you type the URL of the video into the "Just insert a link" box.

However, I get a message saying: "Sorry, wrong link! Try another one" each time I try to insert a Dailymotion link into the box.

So I've clicked on the link you gave me, I've then clicked on "Instructions" and then followed the instructions which were (1) Add the MeddleMonkey extension from the Google WebStore; and (2) Add SaveFrom.net Helper script.

MeddleMonkey and the SaveFrom.net script have therefore successfully been added.

I've then pasted the URL of many different Dailymotion videos into the box where it says: "Just insert a link" and on each occasion, I get a message which says: "Sorry, wrong link! Try another one"

Can you please explain to me why this keeps happening because around 36 hours ago, it was working fine.

Thanks for your help.

It's not just "some videos" though. It's "all videos" from Dailymotion.

I recommend that you try to download some videos from Dailymotion (without the Savefrom.Net extension) so you can see what I mean.

Yet I downloaded around 20 videos from Dailymotion yesterday without any problem whatsoever.

I've tried downloading those same 20 videos today and I keep getting this "Sorry, wrong link! Try another one" message.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm quite happy to download the Savefrom.Net extension. However, I've been able to successfully download videos from Dailymotion - up until a few hours ago - without having the Savefrom.Net extension.

So can you just clarify for me that I'll no longer be able to download videos from Dailymotion (as I am currently able to do from Youtube, and I was able to also do with Dailymotion just a few hours ago) without having the SaveFrom.net extension.

Thanks.

Hi there,

I'm currently unable to download any videos from Dailymotion. Other sites such as Youtube are working fine.

Whenever I type the Dailymotion URL into the "Just insert a link" box, I get a message that says "Sorry, wrong link! Try another one"

I've inserted links to many different Dailymotion videos (including videos which I downloaded successfully as little as 11 hours ago) but I keep getting the aforementioned message.

I use SaveFrom.net quite frequently and this has never happened to me before.

Hopefully, this problem can be sorted out as quickly as possible.

All the best.

Alvin.
